The Water Fire Extinguisher eliminates a fire by allowing water to take away the heat component of a fire.  A water extinguisher should only be used on Class A fires (Combustibles such as wood, paper, cloth, trash, and plastics).

A-Rated Pressurized Water Fire Extinguishers

Amerex’s Pressurized Water Extinguisher uses the cooling, soaking, and penetrating effect of a 45-55 ft. stream of water to quickly knock down Class A fires.

This model can deliver a 45-55 ft. stream of water to cool, soak, and penetrate fires. The 50 second discharge time makes the extinguisher very effective for quickly knocking down Class A Fires.

These fire extinguishers are designed for Class A (wood, paper, cloth) fires only.  You should never use water to extinguisher flammable liquid fires or an electrical fire.

Water Mist Fire Extinguishers

water mist fire extinguisher contains and discharges deionized water in a spray that forms a fine mist curtain. The water droplets are so fine that, while extremely powerful and efficient at cooling and suffocating a fire, they leave no residue and do not leave the area soaking wet.

The water mist fire extinguisher is the ultimate extinguisher for Class A fires and for locations where a potential Class C (electrical) hazard exists.  Some areas that you would see a water mist extinguisher being used are clean areas and veterinary offices.
