  • Job duties include inspecting, maintaining and installing fire alarm, burglar alarm, access control, CCTV systems and related low-voltage technology.

  • This position is based at the corporate office in Westminster, MD, and serves our customers in Maryland & Pennsylvania.
  • This position requires a level of organization, customer service, code interpretation and ability to work independently and as a team.

Requirements

  • Experience in this field and NICET certification is preferred, however; WFX will train the right candidate who possesses mechanical ability and the interest to apply it to this industry.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug test

Description

  • Immediate opening for an experienced fire sprinkler technician to perform inspection, testing, maintenance, repairs and modifications on wet and dry sprinkler systems, fire pumps and related equipment.
  • This position is based at the corporate office in Westminster, MD, and serves our customers in Maryland & Pennsylvania.
  • This position requires a level of organization, customer service, code interpretation and ability to work independently and on a team.
  • Job duties include, but are not limited to inspecting, servicing, maintaining and repairing sprinkler systems for routine service as well as on-site emergency service calls & troubleshooting.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work with customers and suppliers.
